
A Logistics Coordinator is an office administrative position that is responsible for supervising and facilitating the supply tasks of an organization.
The person will be in charge of planning personnel and procedures to accomplish the effective distribution of goods.
He/She is responsible for making sure supplies, stock, materials, packages, and products are processed through the delivery or warehouse system efficiently and safely.
The objective of a logistics coordinator is to guarantee smooth running of the flow of goods from the manufacturer to the consumer aiming for utmost proficiency.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
. Manage the maintenance, preparation and routing of purchase orders
. Respond to client requests and allude customers through proper channels
. Ensure the quality of all services and processes within the organization
. To work with the social media team to make sure distributors and stockists are selling out i.e. monitoring their sales
. To sort out all orders going out daily and working closely with the dispatch rider
. In charge of restocking all distributors and stockists all over
. Working closely with the production team
. Creating daily and weekly reports to send out to coworkers
. Tracking inventory and receiving inventory stock from the manufacturer
Skills
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Extensive Knowledge in Ms Excel)
. Excellent Communication Skills
. Ability to work well in a fast - paced environment
. Administrative Expertise
. Good problem solving skills
. Ability to think quickly, logically and analytically
Further Information
Qualification Educational (s): BSC/BA in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, or Similar relevant field.
