One of Nigeria’s leading travel and tours agency, has been at the forefront of efforts to build world-class travel brand and focused on giving its customers the most value for their money, the agency is now seeking to recruit:
Direct Sales Agent
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will:
Engage in superior customer service by making information readily available to prospective clients
Be proactive and persistent in sales even under pressure
Book/Make reservations for planned travel, including hotels and airlines and collect payment/fees
Follow up with clients about travel plans and make adjustments as needed
Resolve scheduling conflicts and other issues as they come up
Advise current and prospective clients about destination options, including pros and cons of each
Coordinate with client’s point-of-contact in days leading up to event or arrangement
Meet sales quota set by the management
Plan and sell transportations, accommodations and other travel services
Work with customers to determine their needs and advise them appropriately on destination, modes of transportations, travel dates, costs and accommodations
Job Requirements
Degree-qualified in Marketing and any other Sales related field
Basic understanding of travel sales principles and customer service practices
Excellent use and understanding of Amadeus Software
Excellent proficiency and fluency in English; multilingualism is a plus
Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
Persistency & Flexibility. You should have a friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
You should have an excellent understanding of social media platforms and be active on them (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
