JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintaining supplies by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, verifying receipt.
• Preparing hair for styling by analyzing hair condition; shampooing and treating hair. • Conditioning hair and scalp by applying treatments.
• Planning desired effect by studying facial features, examining potential styles, conferring with customer, making recommendations.
• Producing desired effect by arranging, shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, setting, bleaching, dyeing, and tinting of hair.
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and work station
• Keeping up with latest beauty trends.
• Obtaining revenue by recording or collecting charges.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Must have great Listening skills and demeanor.
• Should have at least 2+ years experience in cutting and styling of hair in a salon.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work long hours on their feet.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be highly creative.
• Able and willing to work with a flexible schedule.
