A respectable company in the fashion industry is looking to hire a freelance fashion illustrator.
Fashion Illustrator Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the fashion illustrator will involve:
• Work with designers and stylists to recreate their vision and put it on paper
• Also work for department stores, magazines, ad agencies etc. to draw what the client requires them to
• They use different media like paper, charcoal, paint, pencils and computer tools to illustrate the designs
• Follow fashion trends and use artistic skills to correctly render the design the designer has in mind
• Possess a knowledge of patterns and how they are made.
• Make flat drawings and tech packs.
• Creatively work on male, female and kid’s illustrations
Fashion Illustrator Skills and Specifications
The skills and specifications that are required of a fashion illustrator include:
• Creativity, good listening and communication skills
• Must have a good idea about the fashion world
• Should have excellent drawing skills and knowledge of different drawing media
Location: Oregun, Lagos.
Salary: 15,000 Naira.
Job Type: Part-time (once in a week)
