Experienced Foods and Nutrition Teacher

IMMEDIATE EMPLOYMENT

Job Duties/Responsibilities

. To teach Foods and nutrition education to students.

. To improve quality results by studying, evaluating, and implementing changes in the students in Foods and Nutrition

. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities that involves foods and nutrition

. To provide students with information about clothing design and interpersonal relationships

. Assessing student progress, conduct activities, and supervise extracurricular activities.

. Develop an appropriate classroom management system to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom

. Encourage Families to become an integral part of their children's learning experiences

. Using Instructional Materials in a Foods and Nutrition class to promote and adequate teaching and learning in a classroom setting

. Plan and Implementing activities to develop children's self - esteem and social skills

. Undertaking Assessment and Evaluation of Students which empowers you to give a written/verbal feedback

. Giving Students the opportunity to learn how to cook healthy meals, personal hygiene, Family health and lifestyle, childcare and parenting, nutrition and diet.

. Creating an explanatory lesson plan or notes that encourages students excel in Foods and Nutrition

Candidate Requirements

Bsc or equivalent;

Adequate Knowledge in Home Management;

Enthusiastic and friendly;

Proactive team player;

Integrity and tact;

Candidate ability to teach other subjects will be an added advantage

Good communication skills;

Proficiency in MS Office suite;
